The Women’s High-Tech Coalition is honored to announce our Honorary Congressional Co-Chairs, Rep. Susan W. Brooks (R-IN) and Rep. Suzan DelBene (D-WA). We are grateful for their leadership, and we are fortunate to join these dynamic and dedicated public servants as we work to advance opportunities for women in technology.

About Congresswoman Susan W. Brooks

Congresswoman Susan W. Brooks serves on the Energy and Commerce and Ethics Committees as well as the Select Committee on the Events Surrounding the 2012 Terrorist Attack in Benghazi . She is a former Deputy Mayor of Indianapolis and former U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana. Prior to serving in Congress, she was the Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Ivy Tech Community College where she led statewide workforce development and job training efforts.

About Congresswoman Suzan DelBene

Congresswoman Suzan DelBene serves on the Judiciary and Agriculture Committees. She has more than two decades of experience in the private sector as a successful technology entrepreneur and business leader. She helped found drugstore.com as its Vice President of Marketing and Store Development, was Corporate Vice President of Microsoft’s mobile communications business and was CEO and President at Nimble Technology, a software start-up based on technology developed at the University of Washington. Immediately before coming to Congress, she served as the Director of the Washington State Department of Revenue.
